Now Accepting 2025 MINI-GRANT Applications

The Peconic Estuary Partnership (PEP) is pleased to announce the 2025 Mini-Grant Funding Opportunity for projects in the Peconic Estuary and Watershed. PEP invites organizations to apply for a 2025 PEP Mini Grant to implement a project that assists in accomplishing PEP’s 2020 Comprehensive Conservation Management Plan (CCMP) goal of Clean Waters for Ecosystem Health and Safe Recreation. For more specific information on PEP goals and watershed delineation, please see the PEP’s 2020 CCMP; Actions 16-22, and community outreach projects that apply to these actions. Additionally, we will be including Action 8 from the Strong Partnerships and Engagement section.

The 2024 winners were:

  • The Perfect Earth Project with “Reducing Nutrient Pollution in the Peconic Estuary Watershed Though Residential Outreach and Nature-Based Land Care Education”.
  • The Accabonac Protection Committee with “Enhancing Water Quality Communications in the Accabonac Watershed
  • The Citizen Science Learning Center with “Adopt-a-pond Water Quality Monitoring and Pond Keepers Educational Programing”
