Meschutt Beach Clean Up
July 7 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am
July 4th is widely known as ‘the busiest beach day of the year.’ However, it is also known as the most littered beach day in America! As a result, Peconic Estuary Partnership, Peconic Baykeeper, and the Surfrider Foundation for Eastern Long Island are participating in a joint beach clean up to preserve our beautiful beaches for future generations.
Volunteers are welcome and encouraged.
We will bring the materials, and you will bring your sun protection, closed-toe shoes, and enthusiasm to pick up some trash!
We hope you will join us in protecting our coastlines around the Peconic Estuary.
