Characterization Report of the Living Resources of the Peconic Estuary (1998)

This report, published in 1998, identifies the living resources at risk, and to determine how human activities have or could alter the health of these resources. The report provides background information necessary to understand the biological functioning of the Peconic Estuary through an examination of species and habitats in the system and their relationships with one another, to water quality, and to land use.
