JOIN ON Friday, August 23rd 6:30 pm at the Peconic Lane Community Center for North Fork Environmental Council’s
“2nd ANNUAL FALL NATIVE PLANTINGS CHALLENGE”

Become a part of North Fork Environmental Council’s 2019 Fall Native Perennial Planting Challenge. NFEC is very excited to offer everyone a chance to improve their gardening skills, add even more natural beauty to their property and at the same time increase the amount of food for our Pollinators (bats, bees, birds, butterflies, etc.) which are so important to everyone’s health and well being.
With three levels from which to choose, you will be replacing either a 5’x5′, 7’x7′ or 10’x10′ area of your existing lawn with a huge selection of native plants available to you from us at WHOLESALE prices. THIS is a really cool competition.
We are partnering with several local Native Perennial growers and your participation will get you wholesale prices on hundreds of species. Entry level 5×5 commitment is very low, with reasonable pricing for the more ambitious gardeners among us who wish to take on the larger projects.
Expert gardener, Nancy Conradi, will be giving a detailed overview of the plants we are making available so that you can get the most out of your own Native Perennial garden.
Get your chance to enter this fun and exciting program on Friday, August 23, 2019, at the Peconic Lane Community Center.  Please call the NFEC office at 631 298 8880 or email at office@nfec1.org for more information.
