DESCRIPTION:Want to make a difference for Long Island’s wildlife this summer? \n\n\n\nThe Long Island Complex (LIC) is hosting a series of invasive species removal workdays\, and we need your help. By volunteering\, you will: \n\n\n\n\nRestore native habitats for birds\, butterflies\, and other wildlife.\n\n\n\nImprove the overall health of the refuge ecosystem.\n\n\n\nLearn about local plants and the importance of conservation.\n\n\n\n\nNo experience is necessary! Training will be provided on identifying invasive species and safe removal techniques.
